Monthly Recap: August 2016

The weather doesn't feel like Fall, but the word Septmeber reminds me of Back-to-School, pumpkin flavored everything and shorter days.  Summer always flies by, much more quickly than winter at least, but 2016 seemed to go by more quickly than other years as well.  It was a busy one professionally and personally, but when years fly by this quickly, it makes me nervous that time will speed up more and more each year. Well, Hello 2017.

We are officially 2/3 of the way into 2016 -- in less than half that amount of time, 2017 will be rushing in just as quickly as the last few years.  With each passing year, time moves more quickly than the preceding one.  There are days when I wish there was a pause button, don't you? 7 Inexpensive Ways to Treat Yourself

This statement is nothing new -- I've said it before -- but the older I get, the more I truly value the little things.  I treasure the moments that become memories and the items that were given out of love, not an expensive purchase wrapped in pretty paper.  As I sit here, recovering from surgery, there are several things I'm looking forward to and a few of these I've done every day for the last week.  Either way, each one of these 7 things are enjoyed, appreciated and delightful.  Any I missed?
